Yahoo! Finished my other blog!!!

Well.. not completely finished. I need to write a brief description of the entire trip and stuff like that. But at least my Camiguin report is on the web. Hmmm... I hope PRRM sees this as free publicity.

These are the things they cannot take away from me. Hehe... 10-day vacation/work commissioned by the Philippine Rural Reconstruction Movement. What more can I ask for? Ten days akong paikot-ikot dun sa isla na yun!!!

Tapos yun nasa inventory na man-made at natural resources nila, 90% nun pinuntahan ko four years ago!!! Inakyat ko yun Hibok-hibok at Old Volcano, nilangoy ang Tuasan Falls, namasyal sa Katibawasan Falls, Gui-ob Ruins, nag-scubadiving sa Sunken Cemetery at Old Volcano area, White Island, Mantigue Island, Ardent Hot Spring na yan, Sto. Nino Cold Spring.

And at age 24, I was the youngest consultant for PRRM that time. Sabi nga nung friend ko na na boss kong pinagre-reporta-an noon, "Bakit ang nene ng pinadalang researcher?" Nyahahaha Oo nga, eh, kung ngayong 28 na ako mukha pa rin daw akong 21, imagine niyo na lang nung 24 ako... mukha akong 16?!!!! *tinamaan ng kidlat*

Pero sa lahat ng consultants nila, I was the only one na may angas na ikutin yun buong eco-tourism destination nila dun at nung last day ko pagka-akyat ng Hibok-Hibok ay kumakanta pa ng "More Than Words" sa may Itum habang nakikitagay ng gin. God, I miss those days!!!!

Next thing to do... I need to get the digital copies of the pics I took while I was there.

Alam niyo yun? Kahit na wala akong pera ngayon kapag naaalala ko itong mga ginawa kong ito, daig ko pa yun pinakamayaman sa buong mundo. These (mis)adventures make me so happy!!! *Hugs for me* Hugs for me*

Being On The Wrong Continent

I believe I am standing on the wrong continent. Nevertheless, I do love the Philippines but it's just too darn hard to get a boyfriend down here. Five Minutes of Fame

Date: February 27, 2006 Place: Somewhere in Manila, Philippines What it was about: Taping for TV Noringai , a good friend of mine is currently a writer for one of them big, megastar showbiz personality down here. Being a writer and partly a researcher at the same time, she decided that it might actually do their show good to have me as one of their guests. Well... that's what she thought! Prior to actual taping in the studio, they had their production crew troop down to where I live and do a preliminary shoot (Totally different from the interview I did with Studio 23's "Points of View" a few years back). I thought it'll be like 3-4 people and a camera wanting to take a look at my place. Yeah, I've been living in here since 1995. And yes, almost alone.
