You Can't Spell Awesome without ME!

Image
I have been listening to this song for a year before I actually wondered ... "What does the video  look like?"  You have Taylor Swift and Brendon Urie having a lover's spat at the start of it... in FRENCH! Which sounds so damn sexy any which way you listen to it. Then it's a burst of magical colors in rainbow, glitters and cotton candy all over. What's my favorite about this...? Let me think... Something about the lyrics especially these lines...   Me-e-e, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh I'm the only one of me Let me keep you company Eeh-eeh-eeh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh You're the only one of you Baby, that's the fun of you And I promise that nobody's gonna love you like me-e-e Kink says: Sorry it took me 3 years to update. Date: February 27, 2006 Place: Somewhere in Manila, Philippines What it was about: Taping for TV Noringai , a good friend of mine is currently a writer for one of them big, megastar showbiz personality down here. Being a writer and partly a researcher at the same time, she decided that it might actually do their show good to have me as one of their guests. Well... that's what she thought! Prior to actual taping in the studio, they had their production crew troop down to where I live and do a preliminary shoot (Totally different from the interview I did with Studio 23's "Points of View" a few years back). I thought it'll be like 3-4 people and a camera wanting to take a look at my place. Yeah, I've been living in here since 1995. And yes, almost alone. (ooh...kinky! hehehe) To my surprise, they got four vans parked infront of the house. With about 20 people in the crew. And they had two cameras and this sliding railroad to pan their cameras set up in the middl...

When Friends Become Lovers By Michele Hickford

When Friends Become Lovers By Michele Hickford Source: Special for eDiets The other day I read something in an email from a reader that struck me as very funny. It’s something I’ve heard over and over again, but for some reason, the significance finally hit me. This lady said she knew a wonderful guy and really enjoyed being with him, they were growing closer and were attracted to each other, but she wasn’t sure she wanted to have sex with him because she didn’t want to "ruin the friendship." RUIN the friendship. Do you realize what she’s saying? What everyone who has ever said this is saying? Growing closer and sharing love will RUIN a friendship. Finding a soul mate, with whom you can share your triumph, sadness, ups and downs will RUIN a friendship. Being intimate and committing yourself to another person will RUIN a friendship. What does this say about how we view intimate relationships? A union that should really be the greatest friendship of all? ...
